Are We Gambling Our Life Away?
September 15th, 2007I had a dream that I was in a Las Vegas Casino. I was strong enough to walk past all the fruit machines and roulette wheels when I saw a slot machine with those sliding platforms full to the top with fifty pence pieces. In the corner of my eye I saw that there was 1 fifty pence piece left uncollected. So I used the fifty pence piece and the machine started shooting out all the fifty pence pieces but I could not hold them all. I asked a passer by to help me collect them. He gave me 2 large bags so I could collect all the money. He produced another bag and stole half my money and run off. The other 2 bags I put down as they were to heavy. Before I knew it both bags where gone. I saw the guy who took them so I demanded them back. I thought great I got all the money back. But when I looked in the 2 bags. 1 had some blank disks and the other had an orange. I felt such a fool that I gambled by life away for 1 fifty pence piece.
God gave me this dream to show me that greed is not a good thing. I should be greatful for what I have and not what I dont have.
What are we doing in our lives to make us miss the glory of God [how can the bible help]?
